Let's Sing and Dance!

We're Ready for another Amazing Year at SHOWCASE USA!
We are excited to be able to say we have now completed 20 years at SHOWCASE U.S.A. and excited to start for
a new year. We were very impressed with the auditions and how everyone did during the summer. It is very important that all students are committed and serious to do their very best this coming year. We need all of our students to be hard workers and committed to be there each week.

All student's parents should have received an email informing you which classes
we have placed your children in for the 2014 - 2015 year.   If you did not receive that email or if you have any changes please let us know as soon as possible via e-mail at harmon@byu.net

We want everyone to have a great time and come excited to learn new songs and dances. We think we have the best instructors who include Jeana, Téwa, Cassie, Angie, Jami, Annie, Jessica, lauren, Lea, and Janalee, who are awesome, talented, and been with Showcase for many years.

Tour Meeting, Tues, Sept 9th, 8:45 - 9:30 at the studio
We are inviting High Energy, Premiere, Xtreme, Prestige, Jazz Company, and Sr. Jazz on tour to go to Disneyland the weekend before Thanksgiving in November.  The meeting will be done no later than 9:30.  We will discuss the who, what, where, when, and why’s of tour and let you ask any questions you may have.  We look forward to seeing you then and talking about performing Christmas numbers at the “Happiest Place on Earth!”

We are planning to hold a Christmas recital and are tentatively planning to hold the Christmas recital Monday, December 15.  All groups will be performing the Christmas numbers they are learning, and you will be welcome to invite family and friends to come and watch.  We will let you know more details as the date approaches. Along with the Christmas recital, some groups will perform at other Christmas performances like the Festival of the Trees, or the BYU President’s Christmas Party. We will let you know who will be performing and when.  All of the non-Christmas numbers each group will be learning thoughout the year will be performed at the Spring Recital in May 2015. Also, everyone will do one number at the Lehi Round-up and the Gallivan Center in June 2015. We will try and give you dates and info as soon as possible so each of you can plan accordingly.

So you can plan, below is a list of costs that you should plan in order to budget for the next year:

* Competition Fees - Jazz groups will perform in a competition in late February and then again in late May.
* Costumes for a few groups for the Spring Recital.
* Spring Recital Fee - This is only one per family and the cost will be $14.

Drop Off/Pick Up Reminder
Please use the North entrance when entering the parking lot and exit using the middle or far South exit when entering the street.  The far South entrance/exit can be used for those that intend on staying to watch class.  Also, please do not park directly in front of the studio because it will make it difficult for those entering and exiting the parking area to have a clear view of 350 West.  Please drive carefully and slowly around the studio so we do not have an unfortunate accident.

Tuition Reminder
In order to keep costs down, and to help families plan and forecast budgets, Showcase does not charge a registration fee. Tuition is constant for each month including September.  Keeping the tuition constant relieves any registration fees or audition fees. We also understand that times are tight and we know that families choose to participate in our program, and we want to continue to provide classes at the most reasonable price. Based on an average of four weeks of classes per month during the year, the average cost for your children's class price is $6.50 per hour. Please pay your tuition by the 15th of each month.

We will NOT be sending out a monthly statement.  Instead, we ask that you please pay your tuition monthly in the tuition box provided at the studio or mail it to us.  Monthly tuition is due by the 15th of each month.  We will send out statements and newsletters at key times throughout the year to help keep you current and updated.
If you have questions about your statement, you can send a note with your monthly tuition or you can send an e-mail to Corwin at crash@byu.net.  You should get a response back within a couple of days.  In addition, the studio secretary should be able to provide you accurate statements and hopefully answer your questions at the studio during class hours.

We will try to keep this website up-to-date and current.  In addition, we will send emails at regular times to provide information as needed.  Also, a studio secretary is available during class time to answer questions.  Contact the secretary on the studio phone:  801-763-2623 (801-76-DANCE).
